Hemp Oil – Nature’s most nutritionally balanced oil
What is it?
Hemp is one of the most nutritious foods on the planet. We use the hemp seeds to make our oil as they contain nearly 50% oil, and of this, 75% is essential fatty acids. The oil contains the perfect balance of Omega 3:6, and contains the highly sort after Omega 6 GLA (gamma-linoleic acid) and Omega 3 SDA (stearidonic acid). Importantly, linseed oil, and other common plant oils do not contain these EFAs. Hemp oil is naturally rich in Vitamin E, a natural anti-oxidant which helps to protect the delicate Omega-3 within the oil. This makes the oil very stable so it has a much longer shelf life than linseed oil, and is also more nutritious.
What is it for?
Our Hemp Oil can be fed to improve skin, coat & feather condition, support joints, growth, immunity, fertility and brain development. It is a natural source of GLA so it will also benefit the body by inhibiting the production of leukotrienes. (leukotrienes are associated with inflammatory reactions, allergies & respiratory conditions) Hemp oil is rapidly growing in popularity because many owners report fantastic results and improvements in their animals health and well being.
Research has shown that feeding Hemp oil to chickens can increase the Omega 3 content of their eggs, making a healthier meal for us too!
How is it Made?
Our hemp oil is produced by dedicated hemp producers in the UK. They select only the best quality seeds and carefully extract the oil by gently cold pressing the seeds. It is not chemically treated or refined in any way. Buying from exclusive hemp producers, ensures that we can offer the best quality for your pets and animals.
Hemp is a very environmentally friendly crop. Most importantly, chemical fertilisers and pesticides are not usually necessary and the soil benefits from the plant.

Feeding Instructions
Mix into the animals usual feed.
For Horses – 30 – 60ml per day, depending on size.
For Working Dogs – 1/2 – 1 1/2 teaspoon per day, depending on breed. A 25kg dog should receive ½ teaspoonful (approx. 2.5ml)
For Chickens – Add 10ml per Kilo of food and mix well.
